Magic Kingdom

I wanted to end the trip with a full day at Magic Kingdom, but it didn’t turn out how I had thought. While November is a relatively good time to visit Disney, blogs warned of the large crowds during Thanksgiving week. I thought that going on Monday wouldn’t be so bad. WRONG. There were so many people! The Dwarves Mine ride was over 3 hours long (thank god, I had a fastpass). I waited 30 minutes for the tea cups! Wtf. Overall, it was too many people for me. This cemented the idea of me doing for my birthday in January since crowds are relatively low since I was so tramautized. I’m even second guessing ever going for NYE one day lol.

We did manage to do most of the rides we didn’t get to go on during the Christmas party. I was able to try Tink’s pixie dust cone at Storybook Treats. I actually really enjoyed the lime soft serve. You can’t really see it in photos, but the glitter was a nice touch. Although, cotton candy can get pretty sticky and messy while your holding the cone. Miguel opted for the peppermint swirl soft serve, but did contemplate the Peter Pan float at first. Since it was Thanksgiving week, it was only fitting to have dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern. It was my first Thanksgiving dinner for this season. I always have a dinner with Miguel, then family and finally with friends.

I regret not trying the Citrus Swirl this time around. I also completely forgot to take pictures in front of the infamous Purple Wall and the temporary #ShareYourEars wall during the day. The greatest disappointment of all is not meeting Stitch. For whatever reason, he wasn’t at Stitch’s Encounter that day. I’m more determined than ever to eat breakfast at Ohana.

We viewed the the castle draped in white lights one last time, and said our see you laters. Now, it’s on to planning the next trip. Halloween Party. Christmas Party at Disneyland. Birthday trip.
