Hey, Puddin'!
My Harley costume arrived! Huzzah! I love it so much.
I love the PVC because it means it can be shiny without the hassle of taking care, and putting on latex. Maybe, one day I'll venture into latex. Maybe.
The bodysuit fits great. I'm impressed they were able to adjust it to my size no problem. The corset is a nice touch too. It makes me look skinnier. It was a bitch to get into though. When I took it off I felt so fat, and like my ribs were cursed haha. I think I can handle wearing it all day though. I have to look up tutorials on how to properly lace up a corset.
My ass looks huge in this! I'm guessing it might also be because I gained 5lbs. I guess, it's slutty Harley this year. I know, everyone is going to be looking at my ass. I like how I went from wearing the catsuit to the wearing a bodysuit with my ass and tits out. I'm so predictable. T_T
The thighs fit me perfectly, although they give me the muffin top effect. I have fat thighs, which I'm fine with but thigh highs seem to squeeze too much on me. I hope that this isn't too noticeable. I'm thinking I have to start doing exercises to tighten my thighs. If they are more toned, then maybe it will not look so bad.
The collar is a little hard to get over my head at times lol. I'm thinking that I might have to put it on, and then do my makeup. I'll probably have to cover my neck with a towel then, so my collar doesn't get dirty. I figure worst comes to worst, I can buy another one. It was only $30 compared to the rest of the pieces.
I'm currently awaiting my mask from ReevFX. I would love to get a Catwoman and Batgirl cowl from him when the time comes for those cosplays. I just have to figure out the white face paint. I'm still struggling. I am seriously starting to contemplate airbrush systems. It might be good for Ursula. Every white face paint I try I hate. It just looks gross on my face. It's such a learning process figuring how to apply, and what to use. I've also considered white foundation like Manic Panic. My backup right now is Ben Nye's Clown White.
I should just order a paint palette. I would love do to this kind of makeup with the Harley costume. It'd be fun to switch it up every time I do her.
Now, I have to just order shoes and gloves. I am currently thinking about ordering the hammer I like on etsy. I also have to consider side bangs for Harley. I hate bangs of any sort though. I guess, for the sake of cosplay I might have to. It's probably cheaper if I do it to my own hair instead of getting fake ones.
Next cosplay venture, Mileena...
