Epcot

Epcot was actually magical this time around. Our was trip happened to be during Mickey’s 90th birthday celebration. When we walked into the park we are handed cute pins for his birthday, and naturally, our first mission of the day was to see Mickey in his big day. The fastpass line to see Mickey was actually longer than the civilian line. We waited for about an hour, but luckily, the line is inside in the A/C. I was the first one to sit down on the floor, and everyone followed suit lol. We got to take pictures with Goofy and Minnie too. Minnie was adorable, and said she like my outfit. Miguel, being the homewrecker that he is, tried to propose to Minnie.

Next, we were off to Spaceship Earth and the infamous bubble gum wall. The rest of the time we floating from ride to ride. Miguel also to got to meet Baymax, who had a much shorter line than Mickey lol. We got so preoccupied in the aquarium and Turtle Talk with Crush that we almost missed our fastpass for Soarin’ Around the World. Soarin’ was actually very well done! It was my first time, and it definitely didn’t disappoint me. Another surprising favorite of the afternoon was the Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival. I really loved Piper and Feast. After Figment’s ride we found a photo booth. Disney charges $5 if you want to print out your photos. Wtf. We ended up caving memory purposes, but still. It’s cute that they at least send the photos in your photopass.

We had to run over to Italy for dining reservations at Via Napoli. I figured that Miguel would like this place since they had five different types of white pizzas on the menu, which he actually had a hard time choosing from. He was living his best life with a whole white pizza to himself. He said it was the best pizza he’s had. I’m glad because it was also the most expensive he’s probably had too. I can’t believe Via Napoli was $95 for just two people. I don’t know why I’m still surprised by Disney dining prices. After dining we explored other countries like China before the fireworks show. IllumiNations was pretty spectacular this time around. The fireworks were beautiful, and just overall magical. I also love that the big ball said goodnight in all the languages as you made you exit. My only regrets are that we didn’t spend more time in the countries, and that I didn’t take advantage of the food at the holiday festival. No cookies... ugh.

Next, Magic Kingdom... again.
