I still can't tell whether I like or dislike NYCC. Deep down inside, I think I'm over it. It's too crowded. I'm not a fan of the cosplay community. I don't really make an effort to be close with people anyway. The photos aren't that great. Maybe, I'm just bored with it? I remember Marvin saying that we just go because of fomo lol. I think he's right. That's probably the only reason I still go.
Do I need to experience new cons? Do I need to just give up on cons all together? Do I need to stop being so lazy, and just shoot the cosplays I want to recreate in an outside setting?
So, in all, it was just okay for me this year. I enjoyed things outside of the con more like Stax donut ice cream sandwiches (fucking delicious), and Chinh's (real) birthday dinner. I think that was the highlight of NYCC to be honest, and why I really go: spending time with good friends. It was nice to give Chinh the Louboutins she's been eyeing forever since I know she's bogged down with a mortgage and debt. It's sucks being an adult and not being able to ball out when you want to because you have to be responsible. It made me happy to see her happy in a time where she's been sad and stressed to the max.
Highlights of the actual con: Cult of Chucky booth and my new Gizmo. You have no idea how happy this Gizmo made me lol. I love it so much.

The only reminder I have of the Cosbaes failed b-day dinner attempt for Chinh... they had no idea how to calculate the check. The Bitches just watched it crash and burn. They literally wanted to pay by item when there was 8 people at the table until Jaycee said no. Like who has the time for that? Even then, they didn't exclude Chinh when dividing the check. Smdh. I didn't have the energy to correct their mistakes. I just paid extra because I'm not a cheapass.

Awh I love you guys so much. I still go because it's always a good Tim with you guys. It's why I started going and at least for me, I feel like you guys make it more fun for me. Going anywhere alone is no fun when you have no one to share the experiences with. Even if we do boring same routine stuff, I always find it a good time with you guys, lol.
