NYCC 2015: Day 1
So, NYCC has finally come and gone. I still wasn't excited when we got to the con so that was disappointing and I didn't have PCD as much as I did the last two years. I just really miss the girls, and our little con family. This year marked our 1 year anniversary with Jaycee. He's been with us this whole time during our cosplay journey since NYCC 2014. As much as I yell at him and want to punch him sometimes, he really is a good friend. He's always been there for us, and has always tried to make us happy. He truly knows the Bitches better than anyone. I'm really grateful for him, and if anything, just being with the family really made me happy this con when I wasn't really feeling myself.
I woke up on Thursday, and was like fuck it, I don't feel like painting my face. We were suppose to go out that night for Chinh's birthday dinner, and I was done looking like a weirdo at nice restaurants. Freddy was pretty simple... I did some black/red eye makeup, straightened my hair and threw on the costume. Despite slacking on the makeup, I liked how it came out and the glove looks legit in photos for something that was really cheap. My favorite photos are from Steve, who was Chinh's wedding photographer. He does amazing photography and has some serious editing skills. I really hope I can do more shoots with him because my Freddy photos look beyond amazing. These photos are probably my favorite photos of the con. Jaycee and Brian Maze also got some pretty cool shots in too. I also love my last minute decision to buy those brown contacts. They really stand out in all the photos and enhance the cosplay in my opinion.
