Christmas 2013

Honestly, it didn't even feel like Christmas this year. I swear, it gets less fun and more depressing every year. I did get into a little holiday spirit when me & my loves went to the city to watch the Hobbit 2, eat dinner and see the Christmas tree.

We ended up going to the Christmas tree in Bryant Park.  It was less crowded and we were able to go right up the tree in minutes. You can even touch the ornaments if you wanted to. It's a beautiful tree and it was perfect weather to go ice skating that day.  Of course, the Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center is beautiful as well, but I remember last year, it was chaos trying to even get near the tree and take a decent picture. I could only imagine what it was like the day we went with 60 degree weather.

I also get got some pretty awesome gifts from my girls... the Naked 3 palette, Lime Crime lipsticks in Great Pink Planet and Poisionberry, a POP TMNT Raphael Vinyl figure, two Tobi dresses (one I am apparently too fat for XS thou T_T), a Marvel bodycon dress, a Thor bag, and two new phone cases.

Christmas morning was exciting because I finally got a new laptop... a "13 Macbook Air!!! I decided to go for a Mac and now, I've somehow become an Apple person.  I just like Apple's interface... my iPhone & iPad are very simple and easy to use. And now with iCloud, all my devices are synchronized. When I take a picture with my iPhone, it automatically shows up on my Mac without syncing it to iTunes. My text messages now go to all my devices (only if that person has iMessage). AMAZING. Plus, I don't think Sony offers the pink Vaio I've owned before so it was time for a new change especially since I am not feeling Windows 8.

I fucking love it! It's light, easy to carry around and very sleek. I also love how the keyboard is lit up. It is a nice fresh start. No more slow laptop that constantly drops wifi with a lot of junk downloaded on it. I feel liberated. The only downfall is that I completely didn't realize that there is no CD/DVD drive. I mean, it is stupidly obvious why the Macbook Air wouldn't have one, but it is not that big of a deal.

I am having a hard time adjusting to the Apple operating system vs. Windows. My biggest struggle is not having right click and my stupid inability to scroll using the mousepad. Overall, the Macbook is very simple. It's just gonna take time to get use to where everything is. Now, I must go through my music on my PC and figure how to transfer it all to my Macbook. Ugh...

My mom also got me The Batman Animated Series Volumes 1 - 4. I'M SO EXCITED TO WATCH THEM ALL. I know, I have issues...

The rest of my gifts were money, VS gift cards and an iTunes gift card. Now, I must find something to buy at Victoria's Secret...

Lastly, here is a picture of Luna and her big ass bone. She basically knocks into everything carrying this bone around. I'm surprised I haven't been hit in the head with it yet. This dog is hella bad, but she's adorable so you can't stay mad at her. Today, she rolled around in mud. It hasn't even been a week since she got washed and groomed at Petco. She even had dirt on her nose! She also got all the couches dirty. Needless to say, she wasn't thrilled when she had to get a bath and proceeded to roll around on the living carpet once she was freed from the bathroom. Then, my mom had to barricade her in the hallway so she could blow dry Luna. This dog... smh. At least, she smells nice.
