I sincerely enjoyed The Rise of Skywalker despite Star Wars being plagued with inconsistencies and plot holes. I’m literally that meme about simply enjoying that a new Star Wars movie has been released despite the critic reviews and fan backlash. In my opinion, Star Wars died with Darth Vader, so any Star Wars films produced nowadays are just purely entertainment. In my eyes, nothing will ever touch the original trilogy. There will be no greater villain than Darth Vader. The first movie I turned on when I got Disney+ was A New Hope. Honestly, I enjoyed the sequel trilogy way more than the prequels. I recently watched the prequel trilogy on Disney+, and I’m still so uninterested in the series. I could never connect with the new characters, and to this day, I never go out of my way to watch them. I still dislike like Padmé and Anakin Skywalker so much... yes, Anakin, who becomes Darth Vader. It’s beyond me how this bitchass could go on to be such a badass Sith Lord. I literally cannot associate them as the same person. On a side note, can we also talk about how Samuel L. Jackson has weaseled his way into every major film franchise? LOL. The man even had his own lightsaber! No one wielded a purple lightsaber until Mace Windu. 

Anyway, I will take even The Last Jedi over the prequels at the disgust of many Star Wars fans. I literally cannot stand Star Wars by the way. They are the worse fandom of all fandoms. God forbid, you enjoy a film that they deem unacceptable. I must be a fake Star Wars fan. Seriously, fuck you. I thought this was a free country. I’m sorry I’m not a bitchass like you that cries over very little detail. Why do nerds take Star Wars so seriously?? “Disney ruined Star Wars.” You people literally ridiculed George Lucas over the prequels though? Imagine bullying the actual creator of Star Wars, the said series that wouldn’t have existed without him. It doesn’t stop there though! Fans will do everything in their power to harass actors and actresses of the series too. They literally terrorized Kelly Marie Tran for her portrayal of Rose in TLJ. I’ve read so many infuriating comments of Tran being a victim of “poor writing.” No, she’s a victim of blatant racism, sexism, and personal harassment because people simply didn’t like her character. Call a spade a spade. Why are you sugarcoating the abuse? I’m also sick of people saying Disney is pushing an “agenda.” If a character is not a white, straight cis-gender male, then the film is accused of catering to a certain demographic. God forbid, there are women and non-white people in Star Wars films! What an evil agenda! I did use this opportunity to get on Miguel’s nerves though. I told him it was fitting that Rey turned out to be real “chosen one” because men can never get shit done. Leave it to a woman to have to pick up the pieces, and save the universe once and for all. The ending was realistic.
