Did you know I'm utterly insane? I watched American Psycho today and I don't get it. Is it all in Patrick Bateman's head or did he really kill people? The fact that he's completely and utterly insane has nothing to do with it. He can be insane in the fact that he fantasies and conjures up these events of killing people in his head or he could be insane in the fact that he actually kills people in real life. Either way, it's not normal. I think he really did kill those people. The thing that gets me is how throughout the whole movie, he keeps getting mistaken for his other colleagues. Paul Allen thinks Bateman is Marcus Halberstram and his lawyer does even know who he is. The scene with his lawyer just perplexes me. I guess, it's the running theme throughout the film in that e...
